Weddings & Funerals

Stationery plays a significant role in both weddings and funeral services, as it helps set the tone, provides essential information, and serves as keepsakes for guests. Here’s a breakdown of the stationery needed for each type of event:

Wedding Stationery:

  1. Save the Dates - A preliminary notice to guests to save the date before formal invitations are sent.
  2. Wedding Invitations - The formal invite containing the date, time, location, and other essential details.
  3. RSVP Cards - Cards for guests to confirm their attendance and provide menu preferences if needed.
  4. Envelopes - For sending out the invitations and RSVPs.
  5. Programs - Outlines the ceremony, including the order of events, readings, and who’s involved.
  6. Menus - Detailing the food and drink options at the reception.
  7. Place Cards - Indicate assigned seating at the reception.
  8. Escort Cards or Seating Chart - Guide guests to their tables.
  9. Table Numbers/Names - Identify the tables at the reception.
  10. Signage - Directional or informational signs (e.g., welcome signs, bar menus).
  11. Thank You Cards - Sent to guests after the wedding to express gratitude.
  12. Favours Tags - Tags attached to wedding favours, often with a message or the couple's names and wedding date.

Funeral Stationery:

  1. Funeral Invitations or Notices - Announce the details of the service and burial or cremation.
  2. Order of Service - A program that outlines the order of events, including readings, hymns, and speakers.
  3. Memorial Cards - Small cards with a photo of the deceased, dates of birth and death, and a poem, prayer, or memory.
  4. Thank You Cards - Sent to those who attended the service, sent flowers, or offered support.
  5. Prayer Cards - Similar to memorial cards but usually with a religious prayer or verse on one side.
  6. Guest Book - For attendees to sign and leave messages of condolence for the family.
  7. Donation Cards - If the family requests donations to a charity in lieu of flowers, these cards provide details on how to contribute.

Each type of service may vary based on personal preferences, cultural practices, and religious traditions, so the stationery can be adjusted accordingly
